The clock's tickin' I just count the hours

Just thought I'd update my blog.
Nothing happens in my life, as you can plainly see.

Anyways, you all should check out my gal pal Becca's blog haveilostyou.blogspot.com and her lookbook account http://lookbook.nu/user/224013-Becca-M both of which I have proudly been photographer for some of the pictures.

Here are some of the photographs from that day

I'm really proud of how great they turned out!
Right now, I'm going to buy stocking stuffers for my mother. Toodaloo.

wasted days you've come to pass.

SNOW DAY! Today was a snow day which means I was uncharacteristically unproductive. I got up at 1:30 (pm) and have done nothing all day!

Last week we had amnesty unplugged where everyone spoke about human rights' efforts under the amnesty umbrella that students could try and help out with to make a difference in the world. There was food and musical acts and it was a good night.

lately i've been kinda busy with things, nothing super exciting, as usual.

here are some nice pictures.

wait for the seasons to come back to me.

Hey y'all.

My dad just created a blog. fmfffl. He gave himself a cut lil nickname and everything. I guess the love for rambling about nothing runs throughout my family!

Anyways, another piece from my childhood I vaguely remember: My best friends and I getting into a heated discussion about c-sections versus natural birth. I, myself being a C-Section baby, was defensive about my situation to my "natural" friend. This was probably circa grade 7.

And I know "everyone" misses my epic blogs about Lost episodes, so do I. My mother and I stopped watching the 6th season when we couldn't figure which parts were in the future or past.. or weren't really happening but could be happening... you get the point.

I still love Jin-Soo Kwon, and I thought about him as I ate sweet and sour pork today.

Happy friday night to all.

Haven't blogged in a century.

Wow, it has been forever but I am back thanks to inspiration from my friend becca :3

Not much has happened, but on Saturday my friends and I went to the city for Hannah's birthday and happened upon Bruno Mars! it was pretty rad. We got our picture taken with him, and I forced him to shake my hand!

I've started reading a book called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and it's good so far. Hard to understand, that's for sure.

Right now I'm watching cake boss and talking to becca, and I've started to notice my itunes playlist still going after exiting the window. How strange. I'm a little concerned, but I'm sure shutting down my computer will release the demon from my dell.

will blog later hopefully.

Long time no blog! p.s lead scare..

Wowzie wowza wow. This has been a long time my friends, a long time indeed! I felt the urge to blog about 3.9 seconds ago, so here we are! It's been a nice, hot summer here, though I've spent most of my days alone and/or doing nothing. So it's been wasted, unfortunately. School starts in two days, so I got my darling dad to order me some back-to-school clothes from Urban outfitters.

I got this luuuuvly jacket and I'm suppppa excited, but I read the small print and apparently it doesn't comply with the California Proposition 65 which means it could have traces of lead that could cause birth defects or cancer.

Well, aren't I excited to be trying this on!

More things I love.(And some I don't.)

I don't know what to make of this, exactly. It's the chanel Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. Beautiful and girly as always, but clogs? Really? I love the tatoo on her leg, it contradicts the good girl aesthetic of the outfit, but let's not forget this is Paris 2010 not Denmark 1965.

Bittersweet symphony, I suppose.

Also, I hate toads. One day when I was about 12, I was walking home from a friends house as I approached the front door to my house and I saw a toad sitting on the steps keeping guard. I freaked out, and banging on the garage 10 minutes later, I discovered I could get in through the side door. 10 minutes late for dinner, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Ameeeen.

JIN SOO KWON LIVES!

JIN'S ALIIIIVEE! He survived the frater explosion and made it out with nothing but chapped lips and confusion.

Why is Danielle Russeau young, pregnant and no longer crazy?
Where did the camp go?
Why can the british ginger speak Korean?

Very valid questions, Jin. Very valid, indeed.

This is Alexndra Kwon signing off.

my day.

A whole post dedicated to my day? Why yes, yes indeed.

So, I woke up and got ready for the day and my friend Lucy and her cousin/pal Pauley came and got me, and we drove into the city. We went to the Ontario Science Centre for the moment I have been waiting for my entire life. The Harry Potter Exhibition. (Yes, even as a fetus I knew this was going to be in-store for my teenage years.) When we got inside (that's what she said) the anticipation was overwhelming. We went into a room where this chick with a Scottish accent (really..) sorted some kids into some Hogwarts houses (no slytherins............) and then we moved on to see some clips of the Harry Potter movies throughout the years. From there, we saw the train at platform 9 and 3/4 and the epic nerdliness had begun. There was so many actual props from the movies it was incredible. My favourite was Hermione's dress from the Yule Ball.

From here, we went to Yorkdale Mall where we shopped and ate at the rainforest cafe. After, Pauley and I went through indigo to get to the starbucks and we saw Shane Kippel the guy who plays Spinner on Degrassi!!!!!!!! I stopped when I realized it was him and just stared with my mouth open, pointing at him and muttering OMGITSSPINNEROMGPAULEY.
Yeah, I guess you could say I know how to play it cool.

Anyways, that was my day. Pretty sick I know. And Now this is my official list of famous people I have seen in person.

Adamo Ruggeiro (marco from degrassi)
Andrew Anthony (Host of matchmaker back in the day)
Bo burnham
Darryl Sitler
DaWack
Flavor Flav
Frankie Avalon
Gene Simmons
Martin Short
Matt dusk
Mika
Tim Deegan
Rick mercer
Raven symone
Shane Kippel (Spinner from Degrassi)

modcloth, ruche, Lost

Recently I have stumbled upon 2 clothing websites I am inlove with. Modcloth and Ruche sell vintage inspired indie clothing at reasonable prices.

THE MOST AWESOME PURSE IN THE WORLD?

yes. And I am going to buy it... somehow. It's by Korea-based designer Jacey Chae and at $300 it looks far more reasonable than the Chanel purse I am trying to save up for.

Oh my gooooooooooooood Jin just died on lost. (Yes, I'm behind, thanks.) I don't think I've cried that hard in a while. I'm going to go sit in my room and eat my heart out now.

bye.

Jin-Soo Kwon

So my mother and I have started watching Lost, and we're on season 4 now, but I realized I have a major crush on the Korean character, Jin. He is soooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable! His wife, sun is trying to teach him English and it's just the best ever.

Alexandra Kwon, I think so.

biggest crush in the world.

For a few years now it has come to my attention that not only is marc jacobs one of the most talented designers on the planet, but he is extremely gorgeous

YUMMMMMM! I love him so much, and he is soooo down to earth. A few nights ago I was watching fashion television and Jeanne Becker interviewed marc's partner Lorenzo Martone. I think I am actually inlove with this man, he is stunning and absolutely adorable! Watching him talk to tavi gevinson was the sweetest thing ever (as if I don't envy her enough ... )

.

so anyways once again I have a crush on someone gay or someone taken. Or someone both.

I will still admire from afar anyways because i LOBE this eye candy.

fashion love

What I don't see to understand in today's world is the mix of fashion and celebrities. People say they go together like nobody's business, but I think I might be the only one who doesn't see it that way. Fashion is about expressing yourself through clothes, not about celebrities. I absolutely dislike the stars teen vogue puts on the front cover of its' magazines (miley cyrus, taylor lautner... kristen stewart????!!!) These aren't fashionable celebrities, these are popular celebrities so the magazine can get more subscriptions. I love teen vogue and I have a subsciption myself, but I wish it would focus more on fashion than celebrity.

To quote megan fox (there's a first for everything) "I pay someone really talented to pick out these clothes for me."

..... what's to say miley cyrus, taylor lautner and kristen stewart don't all have the same employees? Put someone with real style on your front covers! Real girls that don't "pay someone talented" to pick out clothes for them.

Enough ranting, a celeb I'd like to see on the FRONT COVER of vogue or teen vogue, is Mika. He's been around for 3 years now and it's obvious he has inspired stars like the Jonas brothers and Ke$ha's music video for your love is my drug (... lollipop video, anyone?) He picks out his own clothes, and not everything he wears has to spell out Dior (cough, lady gaga)

It's not fair someone so gorgeous, artistic and fashionable is only popular in Europe. (Yes, tony monaco if you're reading this, one day I'll be famous and you'll regret telling me you played mika recently when in fact a week ago is not recently) So please, magazines of north america do fashionistas everywhere a huge favour and put this stud on your mag.

Chanel tatoos, exams, blablabla.

Popping up EVERHWHERE are Chanel tatoos! For $75 you can get non-permanent, signature Chanel ink on your body. It's by far the cheapest Chanel... anything you can buy, (purses starting at around $1,000), and have the undeniable Chanel "je ne sais quoi." But... I don't know, if I am going to get something Chanel to flaunt to the world, I'm not sure it will be a tatoo ... no matter how much it's calling out to me.

What do you think?

EXAMS.

I am procrastinating procrastinating right now, by telling you about how I am going to go clean my room as opposed to studying for my 4 exams, (french, science, business and history.) I am sitting on my couch, petting my cat in Burberry Boxers and an "I heart ellen" t-shirt, telling the internet about my exams as opposed to doing them.

Graduating highschool is overrated, am I right?

No, I'm not, So I better go get crackin'.

eBay

YO!

I have an eBay account called "fairlyfabulousfinds" where I am selling, well, fabulous finds! I have name brands such as, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Delia's, Bench, Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, and Roxy being sold far less than the price I purchased them at. They are secondhand, but I keep all of my clothing in mint condition so if one piece isn't up to my satisfaction it is not being sold.

Please, check it out all of my items are 100% authentic and I have purchased them at the retail stores myself.

Pat

Hey, I know I haven't blogged in a long time, i've been one busy beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

anyways, there was a death of one of the students at my high school that has really shook everyone up. It was completely unexpected, but one of the senior students was walking to school and was hit by the train. I didn't really know Pat, but I would see him every morning and every afternoon when i would walk to and from the school because he only lived a few streets away from me. I don't know his friends or family personally either, but if any of them happen to be reading this, you have my sincerest sympathy. Pat would always play his music at school or community events and I had the pleasure of seeing him live a few times. He was extremely talented and appeared to me as this funny, carefree guy.

Rest in peace.

Big weekend.

This long weekend went by F A S T !!!!!

I failed at my dance recital so badly on sunday night, and i messed up others too. (sorry.)

OMG FUNNIEST THING JUST HAPPENED.

as I was outside in my un-fahshunable mika PJ top and big red flannel bottoms bringing in the recycling boxes, my elementary school bus came around the corner. I dropped everything I was holding and hauled my fat ass into my house before I could be bombarded with a children's choir of ALLEXANDDDRAAAA!!!!!!!!'s

So here I am, waiting patiently by the window for the kids to disappear, for fear of my life.

& thaaaaat's a rap!

peace out A-town

Heidi meets Edward Cullen.

Longest effing weekend.

So, It's almost bed time for me, but I am taking time to blog about how I hate the may 24 weekend.

Every year, I gird my loins. Gather my balls. Grab the bull by the horns. Get my hair french braided into next milennium, and for what? A dance recital. FMLLLLLLLLLL.

All year we learn a dance and it all comes down to this one moment on whether your going to screw it all up or not. Pressure? Yes. And then some.

So here I am, writing to you from the comfort of my dining room. Covered in sparkles and 2 tight french braids that form my face into botox the likes of Heidi Montag. Lovefreakingly.

But not everything about this weekend is completely awful, (I'm doing it all again tomorrow night!) Me and my friends are going to go see VAMPIRE WEEKEND, September 7th at the Molson Amphitheatre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For most girls, Justin Bieber would be a leg weakening experience, but not me and my girls. (I mean, my legs can't get any nobblier than when I saw Mika live, but this will be a close third behind Bo Burnham.)

It's still a lifetime a way, but I'm the type of person that if I don't have a specific thing to look forward to, everything is just depressing. I need something to be excited about otherwise what's the point?

Oh and if you see a trail of sparkles, that's just me going to go find Bella.

Something else I hate

Girls. (quel surprise!) I hate when they're total betches! OR when they are slattts. Like, can you not go whoring around, girls get reputations for that you know. It gives the good ones, Like me, a bad name. Not all teenage girls are skanks!

But anyways, my point is, respect yourself and others will respect you in return. I have no respect for "friends" that flirt with boys they know you like. THAT IS AGAINST THE GIRL CODE.

Let's all just be friends. No need for the excessive fights, the "I think i'm hot shit" attitude, because trust me, no one else thinks you are.

Whipped cream, sewing, music, etc.

HELLO ALL,

I want to take a moment to tell you all I LOVE WHIPPED CREAM!!!!!!!
Like, why on earth does something so bad for you taste like heaven drifted down from above and blessed all our strawberries? I ask you this. I just tried nutriwhip yesterday, you buy it in a carton (it's lactose free) and put it in a bowl and hhhwhip it goooood. And it tastes so sweet and awesome as you've ever imagined it.

Next up is sewing. For history I am doing this project about WWII and I'm making a C.W.A.C uniform for my american girl.

(Dont know how to get a picture of it on here... )

Anyways, I have always loved designing and making my dolls' clothing, (hope I can do this for big girls too?) And I'm feeling the need for design coming up. I want to make a lady gaga esque outfit for her, how neat would that be? (You know for decorations and stuff.............)

Last but not least, MUSSSICCC.

I shall dedicate an entire post to my beloved, Mika. But for now, this image of him shirtless strutting his sexy ass self, should be good enough?

Imaging seeing this.

But live in boxers. Ooh la la, and then some Ra ta ta!

And besides the undying love for everybody's favourite, Lebanese, French, American, British, Pop star, I have a new music crush on kate nash. I have loved her stuff for a long time now, but her new CD seems to be the only songs on my playlist lately. I love her song from made of Bricks called "We get on." I strongly believe she was in my head when she wrote that. And the song "Do wah do" from My best friend is you is simply MAAAHVALOUSSS! Check them out if your into british girl pop indie trashy stuff. It's luvvers.

continued

sassy people grind my gears. and when they are super duper sarcastic.

"LOL eff you :)"

i can just smell the sarcasm in that little smilie face, it's not hiding anything sugar.

xoxooooo

Things that make me angry.

Now, I know you're thinking "Cripes, there are a lot of things that make that chick angry!" well... you're right. There is. But lately things just grinds my gears, you know? What kind of things grind your gears?

1. Dropping something repeatedly. (Drop it, pick it up, drop it again, angrily pick it up, drop it yet again, pick it up and squeeze it so it shatters into pieces that you have to pick up.)

2. BOYS. (Like why can't they all be smart like us?)

3. Teachers. (THEY THINK THEY'RE JESUS OR SOMETHING. NEWSFLASH, YOU AREN'T.)

4. When your parents ask you to do something as soon as they've let you sit down. (Oooh alexandra! = most hated phrase in the world. by me.)

Annnnnnnnnnnd just about everything else.

So I'll leave you with this: What grates your cheese?
