fashion love

What I don't see to understand in today's world is the mix of fashion and celebrities. People say they go together like nobody's business, but I think I might be the only one who doesn't see it that way. Fashion is about expressing yourself through clothes, not about celebrities. I absolutely dislike the stars teen vogue puts on the front cover of its' magazines (miley cyrus, taylor lautner... kristen stewart????!!!) These aren't fashionable celebrities, these are popular celebrities so the magazine can get more subscriptions. I love teen vogue and I have a subsciption myself, but I wish it would focus more on fashion than celebrity.

To quote megan fox (there's a first for everything) "I pay someone really talented to pick out these clothes for me."

..... what's to say miley cyrus, taylor lautner and kristen stewart don't all have the same employees? Put someone with real style on your front covers! Real girls that don't "pay someone talented" to pick out clothes for them.

Enough ranting, a celeb I'd like to see on the FRONT COVER of vogue or teen vogue, is Mika. He's been around for 3 years now and it's obvious he has inspired stars like the Jonas brothers and Ke$ha's music video for your love is my drug (... lollipop video, anyone?) He picks out his own clothes, and not everything he wears has to spell out Dior (cough, lady gaga)

It's not fair someone so gorgeous, artistic and fashionable is only popular in Europe. (Yes, tony monaco if you're reading this, one day I'll be famous and you'll regret telling me you played mika recently when in fact a week ago is not recently) So please, magazines of north america do fashionistas everywhere a huge favour and put this stud on your mag.
